In the following steps, you&#8217;ll learn how to use the lock feature on Facebook lite.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Timeline_review\"><\/span>Timeline review<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are several ways to lock your profile on Facebook, including the ability to set a password and locking it when you&#8217;re not using it. There are also apps and websites that will automatically lock your profile if you don&#8217;t want it to be visible to everyone. To unlock your profile, first tap on the three horizontal lines that appear next to the &#8220;Edit profile&#8221; button. After this, tap the &#8220;Unlock&#8221; option and then click OK. Once you&#8217;ve done this, you&#8217;ll have an account that no one will see, except for those you&#8217;ve approved.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve locked your profile, anyone who views it will be able to view your name and profile picture, but will not be able to view your public timeline. They will only see your name and a portion of your About information. You can choose whether to restrict who can view your profile by locking it or enabling tag review for certain types of content. Once you&#8217;ve locked your profile, you can still send messages to friends and family, but this will only be visible to people who have approved them.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tag_review\"><\/span>Tag review<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re a fan of Facebook but don&#8217;t have a smartphone, you may be wondering how to lock your profile on Facebook Lite. Facebook Lite has made the experience even better by making the app available on the desktop. Just like with the mobile app, you can use it just like you would on a regular desktop. There&#8217;s just one difference &#8211; you have to use your browser to log in to the app.<\/p>\n<p>The Lock Profile feature was launched just a few years ago. The main goal of this feature is to protect your privacy by restricting who can view your profile. A locked profile only displays your bio picture, not your posts or photos. This feature also turns on and disables tag reviews and timeline review, so other users won&#8217;t be able to view your posts or photos. It&#8217;s not entirely private, but it gives you control over who can see your profile and who can view it.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Timeline_review_will_be_turned_on\"><\/span>Timeline review will be turned on<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Facebook&#8217;s Timeline review feature lets you keep your personal posts private by manually reviewing them. However, you should remember that you can&#8217;t turn off the feature altogether. It only changes the setting for old Public posts to Friends. However, you can manually approve any new post. This will prevent your uncle from posting political rants or your coworker from posting multi-level marketing garbage.<\/p>\n<p>To enable timeline review, go to Settings &gt; Timeline and Tagging. To enable timeline review, toggle &#8220;Review posts you&#8217;ve been tagged in before they appear on your timeline&#8221; to &#8220;On.&#8221; You can also turn on tag review. To enable tag review, follow the same process. Alternatively, turn off &#8220;Review posts before they appear on your Timeline&#8221; to prevent the feature from working.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Timeline_review_will_be_turned_off\"><\/span>Timeline review will be turned off<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Timeline review feature is a neat feature that lets you decide whether or not a post belongs on your profile. To enable it, go to Settings, Timeline and Tagging. Then, toggle on the &#8220;Review posts you&#8217;re tagged in before they appear on your Timeline&#8221; option. The same process can be used to enable tag review. Timeline review is a great way to avoid having your uncle&#8217;s political rants or the multi-level marketing garbage of your co-workers cluttering up your timeline.<\/p>\n<p>You can still publish content on your profile even if you lock it, but only to your friends. When you lock your profile, only friends will be able to see your public posts. Posts made in groups and the marketplace will remain visible, but nothing else will be visible. If you lock profile in Facebook lite, your posts will only be visible to your friends.
