You can disable your status for everyone, just some people, or for everyone except specific contacts. It all depends on your needs and what you&#8217;re comfortable with. Let&#8217;s take a look at each option. What&#8217;s the difference between the three? Which one would you choose? And how can you manage your settings? Here are a few tips:<\/p>\n<p>To turn off your active status on Facebook, simply log into your account and go to the &#8220;Account&#8221; tab. From there, look for the &#8220;Active Status&#8221; option under Privacy. To turn off your active status, follow the directions in the &#8220;Help&#8221; section. This will help keep your account secure. But if you don&#8217;t want to delete your Facebook account, you can also unsubscribe from the site. It&#8217;s best to choose the latter option.<\/p>\n<p>In the Messenger app, you can turn off your active status by clicking the &#8220;Messenger&#8221; icon. Select Settings and Privacy. Then, scroll down to the Active Status setting. Select Turn Off and select the names of specific contacts you want to exclude from seeing your status. Click OK to save your changes. Now, your Facebook profile will be private and you won&#8217;t be visible to everyone. This option is also useful for excluding certain contacts from seeing your status.<\/p>\n<p>To change your active status on Facebook, go to the Settings menu in the app. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner of the screen. From the settings menu, tap Privacy. You can also tap the toggle next to the &#8220;Show when you&#8217;re active&#8221; option. The toggle will change to off. After that, turn off the feature again. You can even change the toggle in Messenger if you want to stay hidden.<\/p>\n<p>Another good option is to turn off your activity status altogether.
