First, go to your privacy settings. Then, select the &#8220;Your Activity&#8221; option under the header &#8220;Privacy Settings and Tools.&#8221; Once you&#8217;ve selected the option, choose whether you want to make your profile private or visible to everyone. You can also select the &#8220;Friends&#8221; option to limit who can see your posts.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;re logged in to your account, click on the small arrow next to your profile button. Clicking on it opens a drop-down menu where you can choose who can view your posts. You can also select who can see your posts by choosing Friends or Only Me. Changing your settings on the desktop version is especially helpful since it applies to your profile only. Alternatively, you can make your posts and activity private from all visitors.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Photos\"><\/span>Photos<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are many reasons you might want to set Facebook photos to private. Privacy is probably the most common, but you may also want to keep them private for security reasons or work-related issues. Party pictures can impact job applications and a potential employer&#8217;s judgment of your personality. Others may simply wish to keep them private for personal reasons. No matter what your reasons are, there&#8217;s an easy way to set all your Facebook photos to private.<\/p>\n<p>To make your Facebook photos private, first go to the album you want to delete. Look for three dots in the top right corner of the album. These three dots will show you the privacy level of the photo. Click the icon, and then click on &#8220;Edit&#8221; to edit the privacy settings. There are two options here: &#8220;Public&#8221; and &#8220;Friends.&#8221; Select the one that you want to make private, and save. You can now delete or move photos to other albums.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Friends_list\"><\/span>Friends list<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to hide your friends list, you have several options. You can either choose to hide your friends list from everyone, or allow only people you&#8217;ve approved to view it. Hiding your list is the best option for privacy reasons, as it helps you avoid unwanted attention from others. You can choose to hide it on your computer, your mobile device, or any browser. However, you shouldn&#8217;t hide it on every device.<\/p>\n<p>By default, Facebook sets your friends list to be public. However, you can change the settings to keep certain people out of your friends&#8217; list. To edit your privacy settings, go to your profile page. Click on &#8220;My Account&#8221; in the upper right-hand corner. Then, select &#8220;Privacy Settings.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Albums\"><\/span>Albums<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can make all albums on Facebook private or you can just select the ones you want to hide. This can be done by clicking on the three dots in the top right corner of the album page, and then selecting the &#8220;edit privacy&#8221; option. From here, you can decide who can view the contents of your album, and what type of people will see it. Facebook allows you to customize the privacy settings on individual photo albums, too.<\/p>\n<p>First, make sure that you select the right privacy level for the photos in your album. Facebook allows you to choose what kind of people can view the photos, so you can select the appropriate level of permission for each photo. This is important because the permissions you select will apply to all your photos. If you do not want your photos to be viewed by the public, you should select &#8220;only me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Privacy_settings\"><\/span>Privacy settings<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to keep your Facebook profile private, there are a few steps you can take. By default, Facebook allows everyone to see your posts, but you can change the settings to make your posts visible only to friends and family. Facebook&#8217;s privacy settings are generally easy to change, but there is no one setting that will make your account 100% private. Here are a few tips to get started.
