There, you&#8217;ll see a list of security settings, including payment specifications and your bio. Click on any of the three sections and adjust them to your personal needs. It will take about a minute to change your privacy settings, so be patient! Just remember to change them regularly, or else you&#8217;ll end up with a mess of information. If you want to block a certain person from viewing your posts, you can select as many as you want. When blocking someone, their name will appear with a red minus. Not only can you limit the amount of information you share with them, but you can also block them from viewing their own profile or news feed. In addition, blocking someone from seeing your friends list also prevents them from tagging you or posting anything to your timeline. To undo the action, simply visit your friend&#8217;s profile page and click &#8220;unhide.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The only time I would recommend hiding a friend&#8217;s posts is if you want to protect them from being seen by other people. Facebook has many ways to restrict the information you share with others, but it&#8217;s not always easy to control who sees what. By default, a person&#8217;s status updates are shared with all of their friends, but you can also hide your own posts and update them only with certain friends.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Unfollowing_a_person_on_Facebook\"><\/span>Unfollowing a person on Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When you unfollow someone on Facebook, you are not seeing their posts anymore. The reason why this happens is probably because of Facebook&#8217;s algorithms, or maybe you haven&#8217;t checked their page in a while. Once they&#8217;ve been unfollowed, you won&#8217;t be able to see their profile image anymore. You won&#8217;t be able to click on their name or send messages to them.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re worried about privacy, you can unfollow someone on Facebook. This will remove all of their posts from your newsfeed, but you won&#8217;t receive notifications. If you follow them back, they won&#8217;t know that you unfollowed them. If you are worried about privacy, you can always unfollow them yourself. But remember, it&#8217;s a one-way trip! You can still read their posts if they&#8217;ve restricted their posts.<\/p>\n<p>You shouldn&#8217;t worry if you can&#8217;t stand a person&#8217;s posts. The &#8220;following&#8221; feature on Facebook is designed to show you content you want to see. When you unfollow a person, you&#8217;ll be able to see all their previous posts, but you won&#8217;t see their new posts.
