In this article, we will show you how to find memories on Facebook.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Memory_recaps\"><\/span>Memory recaps<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The new feature in Facebook is called &#8220;memory recaps,&#8221; which allow you to see all of the posts from a month, season, or day. You can also watch videos or messages dedicated to each day, but you can find a particular memory only after going through your timeline. If you want to see what you&#8217;ve missed, you can look through your list of missed posts to see which of them you&#8217;ve liked and shared.<\/p>\n<p>To access your Facebook memories, you need to sign in to your account. You can also access your past events by opening the app and looking for &#8220;Memories&#8221; in the sidebar. Then, you can choose whether you&#8217;d like to view past events, or only memories from this day. After you&#8217;ve logged in, click on the Settings menu to set up notifications for these posts. This way, you can easily keep track of the memories that you&#8217;ve missed by going back and looking through them.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Filtering_by_date\"><\/span>Filtering by date<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Facebook&#8217;s &#8220;On This Day&#8221; feature offers the option to filter out painful memories. You can decide to not see pictures with ex-spouses and partners, or you can block all dates that remind you of someone who has passed away. The best thing about the new filter is that it is available for most Facebook users. You can also share it with your friends. To see what memories Facebook has hidden, go to the &#8220;On This Day&#8221; feature and look for the filter icon.<\/p>\n<p>After opening the &#8220;Memories&#8221; tab, you can choose to see only posts made on a particular date. To filter your memories by date, you must select a start and end date for each memory. By default, the &#8220;Date Posted&#8221; tab displays all Facebook posts made on the current day. To hide a certain day, click the &#8220;Add New Date Range&#8221; button. Choose a date range between today and a few days later.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hide_bitter_memories\"><\/span>Hide bitter memories<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are many ways to hide your Facebook memories. If you&#8217;re looking to delete old relationships or embarrassing memories, Facebook makes it easy to do. Just follow these steps. Firstly, you need to log into your Facebook account. Then, go to the menu on the left and choose Memories. Next, choose Hide People from the menu. Next, select the person or account you want to hide. When you&#8217;re done, click on Save to complete the action. To hide certain Memories, just type their names in the text field. This way, you&#8217;ll no longer be reminded of them.<\/p>\n<p>You can also choose to hide specific dates. For example, if you want to hide a bitter memory from the past, you can choose to exclude the dates between the events. After entering the dates, click &#8220;Add New Date Range&#8221; and then click &#8220;Save&#8221;. You can enter as many days as you want, then click &#8220;Save.&#8221; Then, go back to the page and you can see which memories were hidden. Then, you can easily delete the memories.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Editing_your_preferences\"><\/span>Editing your preferences<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to stop receiving notifications about new Facebook Memories, edit your preferences. You can do this by clicking on the &#8220;Photos&#8221; menu, then selecting &#8220;Preferences.&#8221; Uncheck &#8220;Show Memories Notification,&#8221; &#8220;Show Holiday Events&#8221; and &#8220;Allow Facebook to send you reminders about old friends&#8221; if you want to stop seeing them in your timeline. Facebook&#8217;s nostalgic nostalgia inducer, &#8220;On This Day,&#8221; was launched in 2015. It&#8217;s now possible to filter people out of your timeline by typing their names into the text field.<\/p>\n<p>After you&#8217;ve selected the dates you want to hide, click &#8220;Add New Date Range.&#8221; Repeat the process for other dates. Then click &#8220;Save.&#8221; If you wish to keep your memories private, you can add more dates to the range. If you delete the posts, you can&#8217;t find them again. Deleted posts are permanently hidden from your timeline.
