It is easy to add Facebook to your router&#8217;s block list. Whether you&#8217;re in a public space or a home, adding a site to your list is quick and easy. The settings for blocking sites are usually labeled Internet Access Policy or Domain Management. By adding a domain, you&#8217;re blocking access to that website from all the machines connected to your router.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"You_can_unblock_someone_on_Facebook\"><\/span>You can unblock someone on Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve blocked someone on Facebook, you may be wondering how to unblock them. Unblocking is a relatively simple process. To do so, log into your Facebook account, select Settings, then Privacy, then Blocking. Scroll down to the list of blocked people and tap on the Unblock button next to their name. Once you&#8217;ve selected the person, you&#8217;ll be able to view their page.<\/p>\n<p>You can re-send a friend request to the person who blocked you, and they&#8217;ll see your public posts, photos, and tags again. If you&#8217;d like to reconnect with this person, you&#8217;ll need to do it within 48 hours. You can also search for the person&#8217;s name and profile image. If you don&#8217;t find the person&#8217;s name, you may be able to restore it. In addition, you can view any recent conversations you may have had with them.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"You_can_restore_a_blocked_friendship\"><\/span>You can restore a blocked friendship<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve accidentally blocked or removed someone from your Facebook friends list, you may wonder if there is any way to reestablish a friendship. After unblocking someone, their name will be removed from your list of blocked people, and you can re-send a friend request to that person.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re using a computer, you can also unblock a friend by accessing the three-line icon in the lower left corner of their profile. Scroll down to the Blocking list, and tap Unblock next to the person&#8217;s name. Confirm the unblocking by tapping the Unblock button again. Once you&#8217;ve restored a blocked friend, you can add them to your friends list again.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"You_can_block_a_Facebook_page\"><\/span>You can block a Facebook page<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve noticed that certain people have been liking your page without your permission, you can block them by going to your settings. In order to block a Facebook page, you must be logged into your account. Next, tap on the drop-down menu icon and choose &#8220;Settings and Privacy.&#8221; In the sidebar, click on &#8220;Block page.&#8221; After you do that, you will be presented with several options. Choose the one that suits your preferences and click &#8220;Block.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To block a Facebook page, you must be the page admin. On a PC, you can log in and click on the menu button next to the Share button. Select the option that says &#8220;Block Page.&#8221; Once you click on that button, you&#8217;ll be prompted to enter a phone number and email address. In most mobile browsers, you&#8217;ll be directed to the mobile version of Facebook, where you can enter a name to block. Click the &#8220;Confirm&#8221; button to block the page.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"You_can_block_a_Facebook_user\"><\/span>You can block a Facebook user<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are several ways to block someone on Facebook. While blocking a user will make them appear as invisible in the virtual world, this tactic is sometimes the best option. Blocking someone can be the right move for a number of reasons, including the end of a bad relationship or if you feel stalked by someone you don&#8217;t like. Although it&#8217;s unlikely that you&#8217;ll ever get back together with a blocked user, it is possible to regain contact with them.<\/p>\n<p>To block someone on Facebook, first log into your account. Click the three dots (&#8230;) icon next to the person you&#8217;d like to block. Select &#8220;Block this person&#8221; and click &#8220;Confirm.&#8221; Then, click the block button to stop the person from seeing your posts, tagging you in them, or responding to your messages. Once you&#8217;ve blocked someone, they won&#8217;t see you or see what you post on their page again.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"You_can_do_it_with_a_Hosts_file\"><\/span>You can do it with a Hosts file<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Fortunately, there&#8217;s an easy way to block Facebook using your host file. If you have administrator rights to your Facebook profile, you can open the &#8220;Hosts&#8221; file and delete the line that contains the &#8220;http:\/\/&#8221; sign. Next, change the name of the hosts file to something else, like &#8220;www.fb.com.&#8221; Then, you can restart your computer. Once you&#8217;re done, Facebook will be blocked, and your computer will no longer be able to visit the Facebook website.<\/p>\n<p>You can also manually block Facebook by using your hosts file. The hosts file maps hostnames to IP addresses. You can find this file at C:WindowsSystem32driversetchosts. To edit the hosts file, open notepad in administrator mode and add the lines you want to block.
