This doesn’t delete your account, but it does stop it from displaying the information you had on it. However, if you decide to delete your account, you should keep in mind that your information will remain on Facebook. So, it is a good idea to follow the steps below to deactivate your account.

Delete

After being hit with a $5 billion fine from the Federal Trade Commission for mishandling user data, Facebook users are again wondering how to delete Facebook. But what is the difference between deactivating your account and deleting it? The answer depends on whether you want your information completely removed from the site, or just to make your profile less visible. Here are some options for you. Read on to find out more. Once you’ve decided that deleting your Facebook account is the right choice for you, here are a few steps to follow.

First, download the archive of your data. This may take a few minutes and will give you a zip file containing all your Facebook history. You can then delete the account, but the archive is still visible to people you interact with. This way, you’ll be able to stay in touch with friends and promote your business without fear of information being deleted forever. Just make sure that you delete it properly or else you risk the risk of exposing your private data.

Cancel

You may want to delete your Facebook account if you are tired of being constantly bombarded by ads. If this is the case, you can deactivate it by following the steps listed below. While deactivating your Facebook account will make it unsearchable to other users, your pages and other information will remain visible. However, you can opt to keep your information in another service like Google Photos, Google Docs, Dropbox, or Koofr.

If you don’t want your friends and family to know that you have stopped using Facebook, you may want to deactivate your account. While deactivating your Facebook account will prevent anyone from finding your profile, you will still be able to view messages and comments that you have sent or received. However, you will also need to unsubscribe from third-party apps linked to your Facebook account. Lastly, if you’re not sure how to deactivate Facebook, you can adjust your privacy settings to keep other users from contacting you.

Cancel after 30 days

If you haven’t deleted your Facebook account yet, there’s still time to change your mind. Facebook has extended its “cancel after 30 days” grace period, meaning you can delete your account again if you change your mind within the next 14 days. After the deletion date, you can’t log in to your account until a full month has passed. Then, you can try to find deleted posts or pages using a Google search or Facebook search.

If you’re having trouble deciding whether to continue using Facebook, you can take a 30-day break to make up your mind. Although Facebook doesn’t make a formal announcement about the longer deletion period, they’ve made some changes to their Help Center so that you’ll be aware of any additional information they have. As of right now, you have 30 days to cancel your Facebook account. And you can download all of your information from Facebook if you change your mind about deleting your account.

Cancel after 90 days

Cancel after ninety days on Facebook is a process that requires users to sign into their Facebook account and click on ‘deactivation and deletion.’ You’ll be prompted to download your account information. Once you’ve selected ‘cancel after 90 days,’ a dialog box will pop up letting you know how many posts and photos you’ll lose, as well as the 30-day cancellation process. Confirm your cancellation by entering your password. Once the process is complete, your account will be deleted.

To deactivate your account, log in to your Facebook account from a browser and choose the option to “deactivate your account.” Then, follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your request. If you choose to deactivate your account, all of your content will be removed, and you won’t be able to find it. The account will also be unsearchable and deleted, but you can reactivate it later. However, be warned that deactivated Facebook accounts are not searchable, and any messages you’ve sent will be visible to your friends. Then, you won’t be able to use Messenger.

How to Deactively Delete Facebook Delete or Cancel – if you’re not using your Facebook account anymore, you can easily un-subscribe from it.
