However, you may still see messages on your phone, unless you enable vanish mode. To enable this mode, swipe up while you&#8217;re in a conversation. If you&#8217;re worried that Facebook will delete all of your messages, you can always reactivate Messenger. First, right-click on the message in question to bring up the menu. Next, select &#8220;Remove message for everyone.&#8221; The removed message will now be replaced by a text bubble.
