Changing your privacy settings will limit the number of people you accept friend requests from. If you don&#8217;t want to receive friend requests from random people, you can report their account for spam. Alternatively, you can choose to ignore or report them.<\/p>\n<p>To block random users from sending you friend requests on Facebook, go to your account settings and find the option that says &#8220;Friends of Friends.&#8221; This will prevent people you don&#8217;t know from sending you friend requests. This action will cancel the request and remove it from the recipient&#8217;s list.<\/p>\n<p>To view all sent requests to cancel a friend request, open the Facebook app on your phone. Go to the &#8216;Friend requests&#8217; tab and tap &#8216;Cancel request&#8217;. Repeat this process for each friend request. The console will not be accessible in mobile mode, so you&#8217;ll need to use the web browser. Otherwise, you can open the app in the developer mode and use the &#8220;Search&#8221; feature to search for specific information.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Unfollowing_overactive_friends\"><\/span>Unfollowing overactive friends<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You may have noticed that some of your Facebook friends are overactive. First, find the post you want to unfollow, and expand the menu next to their friendship status. Click &#8220;Unfollow&#8221; to remove them from your list. You can also snooze their messages to make them less annoying, but this is only a temporary solution.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve unfollowed overactive friends, you can view who has rejected your friend request. Likewise, you can see who has blocked you for a year. Once you&#8217;ve checked all your friends, you can request a friend request again. This way, you&#8217;ll be able to decide who to add back.
