The process is similar to pausing your music player, but you won&#8217;t receive notifications about new content or activity. Additionally, your account will not appear in search results, and you won&#8217;t be able to see anything you posted unless someone else tagged you in the post. However, deactivating a Facebook account is a temporary solution. This way, you can temporarily remove your account&#8217;s information from the Internet but will still be able to use it when you want to, or when you have other accounts.<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t wish to receive emails from Facebook, deactivating a Facebook account is the most secure way to remove your profile. You can also add additional explanations in the account&#8217;s settings. You can even decide whether you&#8217;d like to keep your Messenger or not.
