Regardless of whether or not you decide to unfollow a friend, your posts will continue to appear on their profile. Just make sure to restrict the posts you&#8217;re making to ensure that they don&#8217;t end up in their news feed. Unfollowing a friend on Facebook won&#8217;t affect groups or pages, but normal profiles will depend on whether or not they&#8217;re listed as a &#8220;friend.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Unfollowing_a_page\"><\/span>Unfollowing a page<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You may have wondered if there is a way to unfollow a page on Facebook. After all, following people and pages is an excellent way to stay connected with them, but sometimes, you may not want to see posts from people you&#8217;ve unfollowed. Unfollowing a page is the perfect way to get around this. You can click on the three dots located in the top-right corner of a post to open a drop-down menu with &#8220;Unfollow&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>After clicking on the unfollow link, a box will appear with the company name. There are also buttons indicating whether you followed or liked the page. Selecting these buttons will remove the company from your timeline, but it will still remain a follower of the page. This method is useful for contests or when you have grown tired of seeing the same content from someone you unfollowed. However, it&#8217;s important to note that you must do this carefully.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Unfollowing_a_group\"><\/span>Unfollowing a group<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>How to unfollow a group on Facebook? Unfollowing a group on Facebook is similar to leaving a group. To unfollow a group, tap on the three-dotted icon that appears in the bottom right corner of its page. Then click the &#8220;Unfollow&#8221; button to remove yourself from the group. Once you&#8217;ve done this, you&#8217;ll no longer receive updates or statuses from the group.<\/p>\n<p>To unfollow a group on Facebook, you must first sign into your account. Go to the profile of the group and click on the following button. This will take you to their profile page. Next, click on the three-dot icon, then choose &#8220;Leave group.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Depending on the settings of a group, you may need to change your privacy settings. Public groups are open for everyone to join, but you can&#8217;t unfollow members of a private group unless they have turned their privacy settings off. If you want to unfollow a group without informing the other members of your decision, you can find their &#8220;unfollow&#8221; button on the top right of their News Feed.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Unfriending_a_page\"><\/span>Unfriending a page<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Having a problem with a page on Facebook? You may want to unfriend it to stop receiving annoying updates. Facebook has a function called &#8220;Unfriend,&#8221; similar to &#8220;Unfollow.&#8221; The reason you choose to unfriend a page may not have anything to do with your personal situation. If you&#8217;ve unfriended a page that causes you to feel a certain way, it can be helpful to understand why you were unfriended in the first place.<\/p>\n<p>You can unfriend a page by following the same steps as for deleting an individual. When you&#8217;re on a desktop computer, simply sign into Facebook and find the user you&#8217;d like to unfriend. You&#8217;ll see a blue square with a white &#8220;f&#8221; in it.
