In the year 2002, he was just a teenager. He lived in a dorm near Chris Hughes, Dustin Moskovitz, and Priscilla Chan, and was fascinated by computers. He was almost kicked out of high school for building FaceSmash, a precursor to Facebook. He spent days coding Facebook, eating Hot Pockets that were heated up in the microwave, and writing lines of code on a white board.<\/p>\n<p>Although Facebook&#8217;s beginnings were somewhat obscured by the media, Mark Zuckerberg&#8217;s early days in college have been the subject of much speculation. In fact, the movie &#8220;The Social Network&#8221; was based on the original idea. Zuckerberg had twin talents for coding and creating stirs, and he used these talents to start Facebook. While at Harvard, he became a campus celebrity after he developed FaceMash, a website where users could vote on which female students they thought were the sexiest. Despite its popularity, group messaging has not yet reached the level of A-List applications. However, there are plenty of champions of group messaging. Now, Facebook wants to be the first thought in a consumer&#8217;s mind. It is clear that Groups are coming back, but it is unclear how long it will stay there.
