She also has a background in PR and journalism, and studied culinary arts, so she understands the importance of strong passwords.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turn_on_two-factor_authentication\"><\/span>Turn on two-factor authentication<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To enable two-factor authentication, first log in to Facebook and choose Security &amp; Login in the upper right corner. Enter your current password. After that, choose the security method you want to use to confirm your identity. If you choose to use two-factor authentication, you will receive an alert on your phone, which you can use to confirm your identity. You can turn off this feature by returning to the Security &amp; Login page.<\/p>\n<p>To turn on two-factor authentication on Facebook, you&#8217;ll need to update your phone number. This step is simple. Just go to Settings -&gt; Security &amp; Login -&gt; Two-factor authentication. Choose the security method you want to use and then confirm your choice. This option will appear in the drop-down menu. Alternatively, you can turn off two-factor authentication if you experience difficulties signing in.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Reset_your_password\"><\/span>Reset your password<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to change your Facebook password, follow these simple steps. First, you must log out of all devices. Secondly, you must have a valid phone number to receive a password reset code. After obtaining the code, enter it in the password field. Lastly, you must choose your new password. Once you&#8217;ve completed the process, your Facebook account will stay safe for ever! If you don&#8217;t have a valid mobile phone number, don&#8217;t worry. There are ways to reset your Facebook password.<\/p>\n<p>You can also use your email and phone to send a reset code to your trusted contacts. Facebook will send a link to these friends when you lose your password. You should also save the email and text message for future reference.
